Six kinds of work.
One contract.
We hold the whole job — permits, structure, systems, finish, final inspection. There is one number in the contract, one superintendent on the site, and one phone that gets answered.
All services in detail- 01 New Custom Homes Ground-up houses on your lot, built design-build or from your architect's drawings. Typically $525k – $1.4M
- 02 Whole-Home Remodels Taking a house down to studs and putting back something that works now. Typically $180k – $600k
- 03 Additions & Second Storeys More house, added so carefully you can't tell where the old one stopped. Typically $95k – $340k
- 04 Kitchens & Baths The two rooms where construction quality shows up fastest — and fails loudest. Typically $45k – $165k
- 05 Light-Commercial Tenant Improvements Office, clinic and retail fit-outs in occupied buildings, on a lease clock. Typically $85k – $500k
- 06 Preconstruction & Design-Build Real numbers before you spend real money — and one team from sketch to keys. $3,500 – $9,000, credited to the build
Three of the last six.
Five steps.
No surprises.
Most construction disputes start with an estimate that was never a real number. We solve that on paper, before anyone owns a problem.
- 01
Site visit
Ninety minutes at your property, no charge. We look at what's there, tell you what's realistic, and give you a range honest enough to plan around.
- 02
Preconstruction
Drawings, permits, and a line-item budget built from real sub pricing. This is where problems get solved on paper instead of on site at three times the cost.
- 03
Fixed-price contract
One number, one schedule, one allowance sheet you've actually read. Change orders in writing, priced before anyone picks up a tool.
- 04
Build
One superintendent on your job from start to finish. Weekly walkthrough, photo updates on Fridays, and a site left broom-clean every night.
- 05
Closeout & warranty
Punch list walked together, manuals and warranties handed over in one binder, and a two-year workmanship warranty. We come back at eleven months to check the drywall.
We interviewed four builders. Cedar & Stone was the only one who told us what our budget would not buy before we signed anything. The number we started with is the number we finished with.
“Same superintendent, every day, for eleven months. He knew our dog's name and he knew where every wire ran. That continuity is the whole thing.”
“Our lease started on the first. They handed us keys on the twenty-second of the month before. I have never had that happen.”
Forty-five minutes of Salem.
We keep the radius tight on purpose. A superintendent who can be on two sites in a morning is worth more than a bigger map, and every sub on our list is someone we've worked with in this valley for years.
